Bluebeards scoops prestigious About.com award!
The votes are in! About.com readers nominated and voted for their favourite men’s hair and shaving products in the 2013 About.com Readers’ Choice Awards for Men’s Hair.
We are delighted to announce that The Bluebeards Revenge Luxury Shaving Cream has won first prize in the category of best shaving cream!
This is the third year The Bluebeards Revenge has been nominated for the awards, and after previously being runner up in the previous years we were delighted to have secured the title this time around.
In January, the site’s readers were asked to nominate their favourite shaving cream brands and aftershave products. After a nomination period that saw a flurry of activity, four finalists were chosen in both categories. From February 11 through March 17, 2013, readers cast tens of thousands of votes every day via the About.com website.
The Bluebeards Revenge scooped 65% of the public vote, followed by Taylor’s of Old Bond Street Lavendar shave cream and then Art of Shaving’s unscented shave cream.
“We are overwhelmed to not only be nominated but also win such a prestigious and coveted award. To poll 65 per cent of the vote and beat competition from Truefitt & Hill, Art of Shaving and Taylor’s of Old Bond Street is a huge achievement,” said Justin Bullock, Brand Manager at The Bluebeards Revenge.
